A couple Fridays ago I tossed out the idea of a photo-a-day challenge. Since entering the Conde Nast Traveler Dream Trip photo contest (see below), I’ve realized that I really, really love taking photos and that I really, really want to get better at it.
The best way to get better at something is to practice, so I’m embarking on a 31-day challenge to do just that. All October I’ll be toting around my camera, attempting to snap one “share-worthy” photo a day. Each Friday, I’ll be sharing my best photos from that week to keep me honest. I’m really wanting to focus on composition, lighting, and well, focus.
I’m really excited to get started (so much so that I’m probably going to start taking photos this weekend)! If you’d like to join me on this journey, let me now in the comments and we’ll have a link party each Friday to hold each other accountable!
What do you want to improve in your photography? What is your biggest photography weakness (mine’s lighting)? What are you most excited to photograph?
