Green Hot Chili Peppers

Before we take off for our big European vacation I wanted to share the progress on our garden. It seems like it’s going nowhere fast, so I thought that if I shared it now I could compare it’s growth in a week and see if we’re really as stuck as it seems.

We planted thirteen different varieties of veggies in our raised garden bed along with spinach, mescalin, and green onions in our gutter gardens. Everything is growing strong except for the carrots. They’re not looking so hot and I think we’ll probably end up planting something else where they are.

When we shared our progress two weeks ago, the Little Garden was looking like this:

And as of last night:

We found these bad boys just hanging out. One’s a jalapeno and one’s a red bell pepper (or will be someday!).

We can’t wait to see how the garden looks when we get home! Maybe we’ll have a few baby tomatoes–there’s a few flowers starting to open up here and there on them.

How is your garden growing?

Everything is growing so nicely! How are you going to take care of the garden while you’re away? Do you have someone come water everything for ya, or did you install some sort of drip irrigation system?

Wow, your garden is really starting to grow! It’s looking great. Have a wonderful Vacation, Kevin & Jess!

    It’s growing so nicely!!

The flowers we planted well over a month ago are only just now starting to pop out of the soil. The weather here has been real back and forth so hopefully soon we’ll have something!

Have such a great time on your trip! I can’t wait to hear about it when you get back.

Everything is growing so nicely! Love the pictures of the peppers.

The flowers we planted like 6 weeks ago are only just now starting to pop out of the soil. I’m hoping soon to have more than just pots of dirt.

Have an awesome time on your vacation!! I can’t wait to read about it when you get back.
